Senior Active Directory Site Reliability Engineer

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale distributed systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities- Design and develop software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Microsoft's Identity services.
- Collaborate with Development, Test, and PM counterparts to translate customer, business, and technical requirements into components of a service architecture and operability.
- Conduct periodic on-call duties to ensure an on-time release and measureable improvements against KPIs.
- Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- Communicate data and information among stakeholders and apply advanced diagnostic expertise during service issues to restore service with minimal disruption to the customer and business.
- 6+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- 6+ years practical experience operating and designing Active Directory Domain Services (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Kerberos, Windows New Technology LAN Manager (NTLM), Group Policy, Windows Time, Trusts, Delegation, Replication).
- 6+ years industry experience with PowerShell scripting/programming languages while having an understanding of network technologies and protocols, including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Domain Name System (DNS).
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
