Administrative Specialist in Lab

Labcorp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team in Lowell, MA.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support to our pathology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing data, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process data through computer systems for Surgical Pathology and Cytology reports
- Provide secretarial support to pathologists and histology labs
- Perform other secretarial duties as required
- Provide client services via telephone and in person
- Prepare and distribute reports, slides, and pathology reports
- Enter and document critical information into the EPIC system
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist the Pathology Manager as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Additional schooling equivalent to two years of college or business school highly preferred
- Customer service experience
- 1-3 years' experience in a Clinical/Pathology Laboratory
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
