Job Summary

Partners in Child Development is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Specialist to join our Early Intervention team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide in-home and childcare center services to children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability.

As a Developmental Specialist, you will contribute to the development of the Individual Family Service plan (IFSP) and provide individualized, developmentally appropriate resources and activities for the child and family. You will utilize parent coaching, participation in screenings, assessments, child and parent groups, center, and home visits to support the child's growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Child Development Education or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric setting working with children under 5
  • Early Intervention experience strongly desired
  • Excellent Interpersonal, Written, and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
  • Current, valid driver's license and proof of insurance coverage
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmental milestones and delays in children
  • Sufficient computer and technical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families, team members, and other professionals
