The Ladders is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Financial Accountant role.

This position entails a standard forty (40) hour work week with benefits.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including billing, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and sales tax compliance. This role reports directly to the Controller and may involve supervising other staff members. The position is responsible for guiding the financial team, ensuring adherence to financial practices, maintaining fiscal records, and preparing timely financial reports.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the weekly billing cycle
  • Assist in collections by providing timely reports and reminders to clients
  • Supervise accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and credit card transactions
  • Oversee sales tax calculations and submissions
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure bank statements align with the general ledger
  • Maintain fixed assets and record depreciation
  • Handle prepaid and accrued expenses, along with client deposit entries
  • Ensure timely monthly closing of financial statements
  • Communicate effectively with the Controller regarding P&L and bank reporting
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist with projects assigned by the Controller
  • Complete month-end and year-end processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Proficient in Peachtree/Sage and Microsoft Excel
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • CPA certification preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Requires motion involving pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous use of fingers and wrists.
Salary Description

$85,000 - $110,000+/ based on Industry Experience
