  • Manage the entire project lifecycle for compliance-related initiatives, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, and expectations, ensuring effective communication of project status, challenges, and risks to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a compliance role within a government contracting environment.
  • Proven track record in leading compliance initiatives related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
  • Experience overseeing the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) process.
  • Expertise in implementing procedures to ensure compliance with various legal requirements.
  • Ability to conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in federal and state reporting, including VETS 4212, EEO-1, and Pay Data reporting for California and Illinois.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Capacity to monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices to maintain ongoing compliance.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with legal, operations, contracts, finance, and senior leadership teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience (12+ years) in a compliance function within a government contracting organization.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience executing internal audits and managing risk identification and resolution.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and perform legal, regulatory, policy, and organizational analyses.
  • Proficient in interpreting legal documents and communicating requirements to stakeholders in business terms.
  • Strong independent and collaborative work skills within a matrix team environment.
  • Active certification as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or equivalent HR certification.
