Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Sales Service Representative at Vestis, you will be responsible for meeting sales goals and enhancing profitability through route growth. Your key duties will include:

  • Prospecting and cold calling to secure new business opportunities
  • Setting appointments and meeting sales quotas
  • Procuring new business and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Safely operating a company van to deliver products and services to clients
  • Verifying daily vehicle maintenance and maintaining operator documentation
  • Managing daily routes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
  • Reviewing invoices for completeness and accuracy
  • Developing leads and prospects, preparing service agreements, and installing new accounts
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Ensuring personal safety and the safety of others, adhering to safe work practices and policies
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school degree or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license and excellent driving record
  • Sales and customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact
  • Strong math and basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience selling services and generating new business
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify and solve customer concerns
Working Conditions:

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions. You will be required to work irregular and long hours.

Physical Requirements:

You will need to be able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds and load and unload product from the truck without assistance. You will also need to be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ pounds and perform tasks that require bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Vestis offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and paid parental leave. You will also be eligible for 40 hours of vacation, 16 hours of floating holidays, and paid sick time every year. Additionally, you will receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000, depending on your skills and qualifications. You will also be eligible for sales commissions based on an incentive plan.
