Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Metal Process Equipment/Batch Furnaces

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in the metal process equipment and batch furnaces industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive top-line growth by expanding market share, securing purchase orders, and achieving sales targets in the assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, using customer feedback to guide sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the VP Sales and Marketing, other Regional Sales Managers, and the Inside Sales Manager to develop segment-based marketing strategies and ensure best practices are shared across the organization.
  • Develop an expert understanding of our products, reading engineering drawings, and understanding technical specifications to make informed recommendations to customers.
  • Travel up to 80% within the assigned region to engage with customers, conduct sales meetings, and ensure a strong presence in the market.

Requirements:

  • Experience with complex sales of industrial engineered products, particularly in a manufacturing environment, and familiarity with materials like tool steels, ceramics, and tungsten carbide.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective elevator pitches and speak confidently in business and industrial settings.
  • Experience with consultative sales techniques, such as those taught in Dale Carnegie training programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to our company's IT systems to support sales efforts.
  • A focus on achieving both short-term and long-term sales goals, with the ability to balance the pursuit of sales volume with the maintenance of acceptable profit margins.
