Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to ensure we attract, reward, and retain top talent globally. This critical role involves evolving our compensation philosophy and executing it across the company, globally. You will work cross-functionally and partner closely with Finance, People Operations, and various levels of management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine Verkada's global compensation strategy, ensuring market competitiveness of cash pay, equity pay, and benefits for roles globally.
  • Partner with Finance, People Partners, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Executives on pay decisions, compensation process, and policies.
  • Build tools and processes to streamline compensation workflows, from job posting to internal approvals to offer signature.
  • Develop and track critical compensation reporting metrics for the Executive team and managers, communicating actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven mentality and high attention to detail.
  • Cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to connect and partner with stakeholders across the company.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment, managing competing priorities and building new processes as the company scales.
  • Experience in Investment Banking or Management Consulting is strongly preferred.

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, compensating them fairly and appropriately for their individual contribution to the company. We consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay, including primary work location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.

This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada's total rewards package, which may include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Estimated Annual Pay Range: $130,000-$210,000 USD
