Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team at Midland Credit Management Inc. As a key member of our compensation team, you will be responsible for managing compensation processes, performing complex analytics, and providing insights to support functional decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform global compensation and benefits benchmarking studies and lead global compensation-related projects and analysis for MCM/Encore business units in the US, Costa Rica, and partner with the India Compensation team.
  • Support the planning and execution of the Annual/Mid-year/Off-cycle Compensation Planning process, performing analysis such as Comp ratios and Cost impact analysis to evaluate overall impact of proposals.
  • Manage and execute the Total Reward Statement process under limited supervision, working with consulting partners and internal stakeholders for timely and accurate submission of data.
  • Perform analysis of compensation programs or related projects which support the Total Rewards Strategy, including calculating costs and/or value of compensation programs such as base salary structures, Short Term Incentive (STI) and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) analysis.
  • Manage all related statutory compliances and track regulatory changes such as minimum wages, pay ratio, and pay equity.
  • Perform other transactions related to compensation management, including approvals in Workday and reporting.
  • Manage direct reports (reporting to the role).
Requirements
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in compensation management or a related field.
  • CCP/Master's degree in HR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
