Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to ensure we attract, reward, and retain top talent globally. This critical role involves evolving our compensation philosophy and executing it across the company, globally. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, People Operations, and management teams to develop and refine our global compensation strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document compensation guidelines, policies, and training programs to support our global compensation strategy.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of our cash pay, equity pay, and benefits for roles globally.
  • Partner with Finance, People Partners, Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Executives on pay decisions, compensation processes, and job evaluation.
  • Build tools and processes to streamline compensation workflows, from job posting to internal approvals to offer signature.
  • Develop and track critical compensation reporting metrics for the Executive team and managers, communicating actionable insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mentality and high attention to detail.
  • Cross-functional communication skills to connect with stakeholders across the company.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment with competing priorities and changing processes.
  • Experience in Investment Banking or Management Consulting is strongly preferred.

Pay Disclosure

We carefully consider factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on these factors, and the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range.

This estimate is just one component of Verkada's total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Estimated Annual Pay Range: $130,000-$210,000 USD
