About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EdRedesign Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for stewarding the financial health of the organization, both now and for long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight of a complex mix of gifts, grants, contracts, and other revenue generating activities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to ensure full compliance with University policies and protocols.
  • Develop and implement financial models for strategic planning and set benchmarks for financial health and long-term sustainability.
  • Develop integrated budget and long-term financial forecast across all grants and funding sources.
  • Manage annual budget processes (internal and external), including development of financial reporting and narratives for various audiences.
  • Oversee and analyze grants and contracts to ensure expenses are being incurred and paid according to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
  • Monitor overall department spending to ensure alignment with strategic plans.
  • Develop, implement, and improve upon systems to manage internal processes related to grants, gifts, and contracts.
  • Represent the organization and advocate for its interests with key offices at HGSE and the University.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of 7 years relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
