Job Title: Assistant Director of Corporate Programs

MIT Professional Education (PE) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as Assistant Director of Corporate Programs. This role will collaborate with colleagues, program directors, staff, faculty, clients, and sponsors to deliver world-class professional education programs to companies and individuals abroad and on campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to improve processes and productivity across the team
  • Collaborate with the Digital Plus Program team to deliver innovative education programs
  • Supervise and mentor supervisees, working closely with faculty teams, PE marketing, PE finance, and internal and external partners
  • Provide oversight of external vendors and represent Professional Education at various events
  • Develop and implement strategies to build collaborative working relationships with people at all levels
Requirements:
  • B.A/B.S. degree in a relevant field
  • At least five years of program management and/or business-related experience, preferably in a professional higher education and/or corporate relations setting
  • Proven success creating budgets and reviewing financial transactions
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead and motivate team members
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, videoconferencing applications, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, Concur, Quip, and Slack
