Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive mutual growth and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with accounts to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Monitor account performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Conduct regular account audits for business development and strengthen partnerships.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries, both internal and external.
- Work closely with accounts to understand their capabilities, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels with accounts to address any operational challenges.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, quality assurance, logistics) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance account value through innovative collaboration and joint ventures.
- Drive initiatives to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance account growth and performance.
- Analyze market trends and industry landscape to anticipate changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Focus on deepening relationships with existing accounts to unlock new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Leverage existing account networks to introduce and integrate new products or services.
- Work with the sales and marketing team to develop account-specific strategies that drive growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, supply chain, or business development within the manufacturing sector, preferably in metal manufacturing.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize account relationships.
- Experience with CRM management software and ERP systems (Sales Force a plus).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
