The Accounts Payable Manager is also responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee payables for Taro US and MA locations
  • Ensure all invoices are received and processed in a timely manner
  • Increase the number of invoices paid as PO
  • Answer queries related to Taro US and MA locations
  • Coordinate with the IBM team to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
  • Check and upload payment runs for Taro US and MA locations
  • Create new vendors in the vendor master and make changes to existing vendors
  • Make ad-hoc payments for Taro US and MA locations
  • Set up templates in banks for wire payments
  • Clear advances and reconcile vendors for Taro US and MA locations
  • Assist the Director of Payables with payables and banking tasks
  • Provide guidance on proper financial transaction handling in operational areas
  • Support special projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong proofreading and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in integrated general ledger systems, such as SAP and Open Text
  • Strong ability to learn new applications as required
  • Ability to work independently and accurately
  • A strong understanding of the importance of deadlines and accuracy
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed to accommodate business demands
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet time-critical deadlines
  • 20% travel required

Actual base compensation may vary based on factors such as geographical location and experience. This position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in company employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, flexible spending accounts, and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
