About the Role

Great American Restaurants is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our Support Center team. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting all areas of Human Resources, with a primary focus on training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Develop and maintain Great American Restaurants' training and development materials, including the Learning Management System content and user setup.
  • Facilitate Training Programs: Support restaurants in managing training program design, training hours, classes, and meetings.
  • Manager Training and Development: Coordinate and execute manager training and development programs, including writing training schedules, producing necessary training materials, tracking program completion progress, and coordinating/scheduling ongoing manager development classes.
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Initiate feedback surveys for all aspects of hourly and manager training and development programs, compile results, and share with leadership for strategic analysis.
  • Compliance and Certification: Ensure 100% compliance of Food Safety Certification requirements for all Managers, facilitate ServSafe and other county-specific testing to keep all manager certifications current.
  • New Restaurant Openings: Assist with creating training documentation, facilitating testing, and organizing the tracking of all related labor.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources, assist with research, projects, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Skills and Experience: Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and control project tasks and deliverables. Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-driven. Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail. Ability to represent the company with a high degree of professionalism and promote a positive company image.
  • Technical Skills: High level of comfort with Microsoft Office programs and Learning Management Systems. Experience with set up and implementation of Learning Management Systems a plus.
