Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our team at Syntagma Group, a leading organization in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all human resource functions across the firm, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in driving HR initiatives and programs.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to current HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Manage firm-wide recruiting, hiring, development, and retention programs, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Assess staffing needs and maintain benchmarked staffing ratios and trends, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Oversee non-exempt personnel, including administrative assistants and other clerical staff, ensuring that firm expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Handle employee relations, including the resolution of employment conflicts and grievances, in a fair and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations in handling requests for leaves of absence, maintaining a balance between employee needs and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with the CHRO and Payroll and Benefits Coordinator on all firm benefit plans, including the 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan, to ensure seamless administration and communication.
  • Maintain updated job descriptions for support staff and ensure timely reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Assist with the integration of new employees into the firm, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and effective transition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR certification is a plus.
  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably in a similar industry or professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve complex issues, with a focus on business outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
