Position Summary

Are you enthusiastic about sustainable energy and eager to contribute positively to your community? We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Community Solar Sales Consultant to represent Royal Marketing Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in connecting residential and small business clients with the advantages of local community solar initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: As a Community Solar Sales Consultant, your main duty will be to engage with residential and small business clients within your community. You will inform them about the benefits of subscribing to a local community solar initiative, highlighting both environmental advantages and potential cost savings.
Consultative Selling: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of solar energy to conduct consultative sales discussions with prospective clients. This includes assessing their energy requirements, explaining the merits of community solar, and tailoring solutions to fit their needs.
Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients is crucial. You will serve as their trusted advisor, addressing inquiries and concerns while providing continuous support throughout their subscription journey.
Community Engagement: In addition to individual sales efforts, you will actively engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of the benefits of community solar. This may involve canvassing, organizing informational workshops, participating in local events, and collaborating with community organizations.
Product Expertise: Stay informed about the latest advancements in solar energy and our community solar offerings. You will be expected to effectively communicate the financial and environmental benefits of our services.
Sales Objectives: You will have specific sales objectives to achieve, and your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to convert potential clients into enthusiastic community solar subscribers.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Background: Previous experience in sales, particularly in the energy sector, is advantageous but not required.
