Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at Manpower San Diego. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations: Assist in coordinating daily activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the management of schedules, resources, and logistics: Ensure seamless operations by supporting the management of schedules, resources, and logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation for various operational processes.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination among departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support training initiatives and inventory management: Support training initiatives and assist in inventory management to enhance accuracy.
  • Document the installation of lab-based equipment: Document the installation of lab-based equipment according to Quality Management System requirements.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement: Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Facilitate the completion of actions addressing potential safety hazards: Facilitate the completion of actions addressing potential safety hazards.
Administrative Support:
  • Assist with administrative tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.

Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in implementing solutions.

  • Collect and analyze data: Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and process optimization.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.

Experience: 1-2 years in operations coordination, administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in a lab-based environment is a plus.
