About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Test Engineer, Actuation Systems to join our team at Space Exploration Technologies Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for actuation systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to identify and resolve test-related issues.
  • Design, develop, and implement test fixtures, equipment, and procedures to support actuation system testing.
  • Analyze test data and provide recommendations for system improvements and optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including test procedures, reports, and presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware testing, with a focus on actuation systems.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective test plans and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations.
