Position Overview

The Social Media Strategy Manager is pivotal in steering the social media initiatives for the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. This role is designed to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms, aiming to connect with and inspire a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Craft, edit, and disseminate compelling social media content that resonates with the brand's voice and adheres to established guidelines. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute innovative content ideas and campaigns.
  • Social Media Calendar Management: Create and oversee a comprehensive social media content calendar to achieve strategic objectives across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate a long-term social media strategy that includes the introduction of new platforms, audience analytics, and the development of channel-specific brand voice guidelines.
  • Community Interaction: Actively engage with online communities across all social media channels. Utilize social listening tools to monitor discussions and foster relationships that enhance brand reputation.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Manage influencer outreach initiatives, ensuring effective engagement and community management across all platforms.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor social media metrics and feedback, providing regular performance reports and insights. Adjust strategies based on analytics to optimize engagement.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging social media trends and tactics to maintain relevance and effectiveness in strategy.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including Digital Marketing, to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in managing social media for organizations.
  • Proficient in content publishing tools and social media analytics.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in visual storytelling and digital content production is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the possibility of evening and weekend work to meet the needs of the organization.
