Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Discovery Behavioral Health DBH. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation and Collaboration
    • Work closely with program leadership and operations team to ensure effective psychiatric interventions.
    • Collaborate with treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Medication Management
    • Prescribe and monitor medications as needed.
    • Conduct regular medication reviews to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Treatment Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement treatment plans that address patients' psychiatric needs.
    • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Document patient progress and treatment plans in our electronic medical record system.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Must be a qualified psychiatrist with a medical degree from an accredited institution.
    • Must hold a current license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Must have experience in adolescent psychiatry, if applicable.
    • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
