We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Springbrook Center in Westbrook, ME. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective nursing strategies and policies.
- Provide clinical operational leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Genesis policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and mentor staff to achieve top-of-license practice.
- Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation of nurses.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with at least 2 years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
- On-call availability is required.
