Responsibilities:

About the Role:

The Senior Principal - Originations Domain Architect will play a pivotal role in steering the architectural vision for our account servicing platforms and solutions. This position is focused on leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance customer experiences and uphold our industry-leading satisfaction ratings. We seek a forward-thinking leader to expedite our transformation journey.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: SVP Global Chief Architect
  • Direct Reports: Dotted line to all Solution Architects aligned to originations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to the technology strategy and roadmap; stay informed on key technology trends and their applications in financial services, particularly in loan and customer originations.
  • Guide teams of application and solution architects in delivering originations applications, serving as a mentor on technical and architectural challenges.
  • Engage in the development and upkeep of company-wide architectural standards, including patterns, reference architectures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with governance routines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT operations and support, with experience in UML Design Tools and advanced technical writing.
  • Possess corporate management experience with escalating architectural responsibilities in large organizations.
  • Exhibit expertise in architecting solutions within multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments.
  • Have a background in architecting account servicing solutions.
  • Experience in highly regulated sectors such as financial services or healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in writing system and user specifications/documentation.
  • Expertise in software design and modeling, along with associated tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of current application design patterns (e.g., micro-services, API).
  • Experience in designing applications for global markets.

Experience:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience required.
  • 14+ years in related functions required.
  • 7-10 years of mentorship experience in the relevant field required.
  • 7-10 years of driving thought leadership and innovation across products required.
