Role Overview
This position is situated within the Marketing Technology Unit of our IT Department. The primary objective is to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that surpass expectations and foster trust in the Honda and Acura brands. We are in search of a seasoned Loyalty and Personalization Project/Program Manager to enhance our IT MarTech team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of MarTech industry standards and demonstrate the ability to bridge business requirements with technical execution.


Key Responsibilities
MarTech Knowledge and Solutions:

  • Provide comprehensive expertise in MarTech solutions, particularly in loyalty and personalization initiatives.
  • Identify and address gaps in existing solutions and processes, proposing enhancements for improved efficiency.
  • Serve as a conduit between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with architect teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
  • Break down complex solutions into manageable components, detailing roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with architects to design components that meet both business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Lead the selection process for Customer Journey Orchestration (CJO) tools, focusing on campaign requirements and integration strategies.
  • Oversee the migration of campaigns, coordinating detailed requirements across various teams.
  • Refine zero-party data requirements to facilitate implementation and tool selection.
  • Define and implement loyalty initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
  • Utilize CRM systems to enable personalized communication and track customer journeys.
  • Implement Personalization Engines to enhance customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with Customer Data Platform (CDP) teams to aggregate customer data for tailored marketing strategies.
  • Integrate Voice of Customer (VoC) platforms to capture feedback and improve customer engagement.
  • Employ analytical tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.
  • Integrate loyalty systems and recognition programs to enhance customer retention.
  • Stay informed about relevant technologies and business drivers.

Technical Program Management:

  • Assume technical ownership of loyalty and personalization initiatives.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to manage and deliver programs effectively.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor program performance and report to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards through effective quality control processes.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Owners to develop detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and risks to meet program objectives.
  • Experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
  • Achieve quality, cost, and delivery goals, linking IT activities to business outcomes.
  • Ensure the resolution of incidents and management of problems affecting delivery.

This role offers a hybrid work model, with a combination of remote work and office presence.


Qualifications and Skills
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Project Delivery and Program Management.
  • Proven track record as a delivery manager, leading development teams in consumer application delivery.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with strategic oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to foster alignment across diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address solution gaps.
  • Familiarity with SDLC in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of tools such as Jira and Atlassian Confluence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with zero-party data management and loyalty program integration.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Personalization Engines, CDPs, and VoC platforms.
  • Experience with analytical tools and loyalty systems.
