Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Precision Products (CPP). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety culture and ensure a safe working environment
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in occupational safety and/or industrial hygiene
- OSHA-related technical certifications
- Trackable history of math and basic science skill demonstration
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate but the employee will be exposed to higher noise levels when required to be in manufacturing areas.
ScheduleThis is a full-time position with overtime offered based on business needs.
