Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team at HUB International. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with employee benefit clients, providing critical support through account management, claims management, and underwriting services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assigned book of business, develop client relationships, and deliver growth and retention strategies.
- Partner with producers to develop and implement client benefits strategies.
- Prepare plans for each account to identify short- and long-term needs.
- Interface with clients at the HR Manager/Director and C-Suite levels to understand overall objectives and requirements.
- Maintain regular interactions with clients to develop relationships and advise on new product and service offerings.
- Ensure all services are implemented according to established project plans and client deliverables meet quality standards.
- Act as the "quarterback" directing the account team on all client work and deliverables.
- Coach and mentor the account team on RFP and marketing processes, strategies for new and renewing plans, and working with clients to identify wellness initiatives.
- Develop client 3-5 year strategic plans and annual planning calendars.
- Provide direction on contribution modeling, carrier and vendor management, communications, and all aspects of executing Open Enrollment.
- Serve as the highest point of escalation for issues or activities that the customer encounters with benefits programs and services.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must hold a valid CA Life Agent license or will obtain.
- Preference will be given to candidates with brokerage or insurance carrier account or sales management experience.
