Position Summary:
This role requires a thorough understanding of restoration methods for cleaning and managing contents during pack-outs. Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills are essential. You will serve as the liaison to the Project Manager, overseeing the maintenance, inventory, and organization of job contents to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and/or General Manager, you will utilize loss details, including the type of loss and occupancy, to prepare for resource mobilization for thorough cleaning and restoration. Conducting site walk-throughs with the Project Manager will be essential to address safety, customer concerns, business interruption needs, and stabilization. You will oversee the crew's productivity on-site, ensuring the listing, photographing, cleaning, packing, storing, and delivering of both restorable and non-restorable contents using our inventory management system.
  • Manage daily operations for pack-out and pack-in, on-site contents cleaning and packing, and inventory maintenance.
  • Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding job specifics and progress.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all work and time throughout the project.
  • Maintain organization of contents from job sites to the warehouse.
  • Track the location and condition of goods.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and accountability.
  • Develop comprehensive service scopes prior to job initiation, including cost summaries, staffing needs, job hours, and consumable usage for project planning.
  • Review service scopes with the Project Manager before submission to clients.
  • Create and finalize resource requirements and timelines, project organizational charts, projected milestones, and detailed task definitions. Coordinate efficient turnaround times for contents processing.
  • Ensure all project operations are completed, documented, and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Inspect and assess project progress daily.
  • Communicate customer needs with the Project Manager throughout the job's progression, as these will influence project priorities.
  • Plan daily objectives for Project Managers and clarify expectations for each project, including daily work orders for on-site personnel.
  • Coordinate specialty cleaning for items such as clothing, textiles, electronics, artwork, and high-value possessions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Adjusters, Business Owners, and Homeowners for item review and disposal, as well as final inspections.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations for content disposal.
  • Utilize Contents Tracking Software effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of contents, ozone rooms, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Pay close attention to detail and safeguard the warehouse and others' property and information.
  • Ensure all documentation is finalized and audited for invoicing purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the major duties and responsibilities outlined above. Key requirements may include:
  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills for complex scheduling, demanding customer requests, and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills to ensure effective workforce utilization and documentation completion.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
  • Shift hours may vary based on project size and scope, typically consisting of eight (8) hours, with additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, with approximately sixty percent (60%) of the time spent evaluating site progress through walk-throughs.
  • Willingness to travel locally and out of state as required.
Qualifications:
  • IICRC certification in Fire and Smoke and/or Odor Control preferred.
  • IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration Technician preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in contents restoration.
  • Knowledge of chemical products and their application on various surfaces.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team or independently as needed.
  • Multi-lingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Criminal Record Check required.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent lifting of 5-40 lbs., unassisted (35-65% of the time).
  • Occasional lifting of 41 lbs. and above, assisted (up to 50% of the time).
  • Fit testing for half and full-face masks as required; annual certification necessary.
  • Periodic work at heights over 5 feet.
  • Ability to sustain periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
