Job Description

About the Role

K2 Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing major construction projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers and superintendents, to achieve project goals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards, and identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Cost Management: Oversee project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers, to ensure that project requirements are met.
  • Safety Management: Ensure that all project activities are conducted in a safe and healthy manner, and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Closeout and Documentation: Ensure that all project closeout activities are completed, including documentation and punch list items.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in project management software, cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews, and labor reports.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required.
