About the Role
K2 Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing major construction projects from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers and superintendents, to achieve project goals.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards, and identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Cost Management: Oversee cost accounting, prepare job status reports, and investigate and resolve cost variances.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers, to ensure project success.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Skills: Proficient in project management software, cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, and labor reports.
- Leadership: Ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
