Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Seasonal Special Events Coordinator to join our team at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating the operation of all Special Events or Leisure Experience activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating the operation of all Special Events or Leisure Experience activities, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Monitor and assist with training for all Special Events employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Learn and operate software systems used in events, including ticketing, retail, inventory, space usage, and other relevant systems.
  • Resolve financial, inventory, and numeric discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to reach common goals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, identifying and recommending new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
