Transaction Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Transaction Support Specialist to join our Real Estate Development Legal department in Pasadena. This role is responsible for managing transactional aspects of acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, and secured loan transactions.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with legal team members, regional business professionals, and external counsel to ensure timely completion of due diligence calls, transaction status updates, document collection, and review.
  • Manage and track transaction progress, ensuring all parties meet deadlines and requirements.
  • Coordinate title and survey orders, manage closing processes, and oversee engagement of third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist with preparing closing binders and participating in general administrative tasks, support to the legal department, and special projects as assigned.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and third-party vendors.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices related to transactional support.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in real estate or corporate law.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with senior management and legal counsel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $35.10 to $40.87 USD per hour, plus annual discretionary bonus. CBIZ offers a competitive benefits package and is committed to providing equal opportunities to all candidates.
