Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate order and shipping documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely communication with sales staff and clients.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the logistics department to monitor shipments and address shortages.
  • Verify export documentation and conduct research in our mainframe system to ensure accuracy in shipped orders.
  • Assist with claims and investigate proof of delivery and other necessary documentation.
  • Support various order entry roles as needed.
  • Cover front desk duties during breaks and absences.
  • Participate in cross-training for other departmental roles.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required, along with 1-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts beyond basic arithmetic.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Capable of setting priorities and working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with commonly used business systems and software applications, including Windows Office, and understanding their relation to business processes.
