We are in search of a dedicated full-time Customer Service Order Specialist who will facilitate the smooth processing of orders to meet customer specifications. This role involves entering orders and addressing all inquiries related to order status and documentation. The Customer Service Order Specialist acts as the key link between the customer and the Account Manager.

Operio Group is a rapidly expanding, family-owned enterprise that focuses on providing high-quality ingredients across various sectors including Nutritional, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Agricultural, and Industrial markets. Our offerings cater to a wide range of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive orders through various channels and accurately translate them into the required units for system entry.
  • Confirm stock orders with customers.
  • Verify all In/Out and Direct Ship orders with customers.
  • Modify orders and provide status updates as requested.
  • Address client document requests and assist with order inquiries.
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations/Credits accurately.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule timely pick-ups and dispatches.
  • Submit sample requests as needed by the sales team.
  • Update customer quotes as necessary.
  • Input new leads and maintain current customer information in the database.
  • Prepare and print Bills of Lading and other essential documents for upcoming shipments.
  • Review Daily Shipments Report to ensure all scheduled orders are ready for dispatch.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree is preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in the chemical industry is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills to effectively perform all tasks.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour, based on experience.
