Role Responsibilities

The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for accurately pulling and packing orders while meeting productivity and accuracy benchmarks.

Compensation

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday 12PM-8:30PM, Seasonal, Non-Exempt

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Retrieve customer orders
  • Verify packing lists for accuracy and inspect items.
  • Operate an electric cart to collect orders.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
  • Inspect products for defects or damages.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and maintain focus.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Comfortable using electronic devices.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Able to identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
  • Flexible with start and end times as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for an 8+ hour shift. The role involves frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus, and hearing are necessary.

Work Environment

The job will be performed entirely in a warehouse setting where conditions can vary from warm to cool. The work environment includes exposure to warehouse machinery and equipment with a moderate noise level. Employees must be able to thrive in a high-volume, high-demand atmosphere while meeting stringent customer deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities or job duties is essential, as is the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
