About the Role

The Culinary Program Manager will be a key member of our team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive food program that promotes healthy lifestyles for Boston's youth. This role will involve creating and managing menus, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement a food program that meets the nutritional needs of our members, while also promoting healthy eating habits and culinary education.
  • Menu Planning: Create menus that are both healthy and appealing to our members, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, and sanitation.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all food program activities comply with relevant regulations, including CACFP, SFSP, and ESE guidelines.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food program activities, including menu planning, inventory management, and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the food program is integrated into the overall Club experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a youth-serving organization.
  • Certifications: Culinary certification or expertise preferred, as well as ServSafe certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
