- Menu Planning: Create menus that are both healthy and appealing to our members, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, and sanitation.
- Compliance: Ensure that all food program activities comply with relevant regulations, including CACFP, SFSP, and ESE guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food program activities, including menu planning, inventory management, and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the food program is integrated into the overall Club experience.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a youth-serving organization.
- Certifications: Culinary certification or expertise preferred, as well as ServSafe certification or the ability to become certified.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
