Job Overview

This role reports directly to the Business Unit Manager and is tasked with overseeing customer fulfillment from contract initiation to the final delivery of products. Building and maintaining direct relationships with customers is essential to ensure that contracts meet satisfaction levels for designated clients, products, or regions. This position requires consistent interaction with customers and alignment across all operational departments to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

· Assume overall responsibility for customer engagement and serve as the primary point of contact for all communications - including scheduling, technical inquiries, and cost management.

· Collaborate with clients to establish priorities, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the process.

· Set realistic objectives and develop supporting strategies to meet business goals.

· Define, monitor, and execute delivery plans, addressing timelines, constraints, and removing obstacles.

· Track performance through metrics (KPIs), scorecards, and weekly updates on schedule, quality, risks, and corrective actions.

· Communicate expectations to management and clients, providing regular reviews and updates.

· Identify and escalate risks, taking proactive measures to resolve customer-related issues swiftly.

· Assess demand and ensure that resources are allocated to meet customer needs effectively.

· Enhance collaboration between operations and clients.

· Take ownership of any constraints affecting delivery or product quality.

· Organize customer site visits, ensuring the organization is well-prepared and meets client expectations.

· Relay program requirements to other departments.

· Oversee schedules, issues, and communications to ensure successful contract fulfillment within budgetary limits.

· Engage with various functional departments to discuss and resolve program-related challenges.

· Conduct meetings with different departments to review program milestones and implement necessary corrective actions.

· Identify and manage program/contract risks, escalating to management as needed.

· Collaborate with contracts, sales, finance, and management teams to support bidding and negotiation processes with clients.

· Prepare and deliver monthly program reviews covering schedule status, financial performance, risk management, manpower, and other program aspects.

· Assist in establishing program goals and tactics aligned with company business strategies, developing key performance indicators in collaboration with Program Management staff.

· Consult with senior leadership to review strategic targets and discuss necessary adjustments to goals based on current conditions.

· Uphold the highest ethical standards in all dealings.

Qualifications

· Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proven planning and leadership capabilities.

· Self-driven team leader adept at sustaining improvement initiatives.

· Exceptional organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.

· Active Department of Defense SECRET Clearance is preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain this clearance.

· Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn manufacturing software.

· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, including visual management and value stream mapping.

· Effective communicator at all organizational levels.

· Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong multitasking abilities and project management skills.

· Excellent customer focus and responsiveness.

· Solid technical understanding and the ability to convey complex technical issues to diverse stakeholders.

· Ability to navigate an environment requiring tact, sensitivity, respect, tenacity, persuasion, and decisiveness.

Education and Experience Requirements

· A bachelor's degree in Business or a Technical field is required; an MBA, advanced degree, or engineering degree is preferred.

· A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program management within a manufacturing context, ideally in the aerospace sector.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
