Our Engineering division is expanding, and we are seeking a Project Engineer to assist in our essential initiatives that deliver cutting-edge technology, equipment, and services to the global nuclear power sector.


Location:
Brea, CA (Hybrid)

Salary Range:
$80,500 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
2. Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to implement operational procedures, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and provide technical insights.
3. Develop, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of production, including the selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.
4. Draft performance requirements for product development or engineering projects.

5. Research and assess customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

6. Assist in the structural design of products and provide feedback to design engineers regarding customer issues and needs.
7. Design testing apparatus and equipment, and develop procedures for product testing.
8. Investigate equipment failures and challenges to diagnose faulty operations and recommend solutions to the maintenance team.
9. Supervise installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are functioning according to specifications.
10. Monitor project schedules and budgets.
11. Report schedule deviations and cost overruns to management.
12. Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and prepare contract documents.

13. Establish and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, service schedules, and the supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in optimal condition.


Qualifications:
1. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing technically complex projects.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines will be considered.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Project software preferred.
5. Knowledge or experience with valves and/or hydraulics is desirable.
