Job Opportunity at Salem Media Group, Inc.

We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our growing on-air and digital sales team as a Media Strategist / Account Executive for New Business Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals in both on-air and online media, with a strong understanding of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for local and regional businesses, identifying decision-makers and creating compelling advertising presentations that address client objectives.
  • Stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities, researching and analyzing client needs to develop strategic marketing proposals.
  • Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and exceed annual budgets.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people.
  • Proven track record of developing business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
  • Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft business software and ability to quickly learn new software applications.
