Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Manager to oversee the delivery of patient access services for one or more locations throughout our organization. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of healthcare operations and patient financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for department operations
  • Manage all staff on-site in Human Resource related functions
  • Review departmental performance and implement changes to improve services and simplify workflows
  • Prepare departmental budget and ensure department operates within allocated expense structure
  • Maintain appropriate statistical information and establish and maintain intra/interdepartmental communication
  • Network with site facility to build physician and administrative relationships
  • Provide vision, direction, planning, and support to Administrators
  • Work closely with other Patient Access Managers to ensure smooth flow of communication and consistency across all Orlando Health facilities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
  • Four years (4) of Patient Access (Patient Business) experience is required. One year (1) supervisory, lead or preceptor experience required
