Position Summary
Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage a variety of tax, audit, and other assignments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and tax rules, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Your Responsibilities
  • Complete tax and/or audit projects for designated clients with minimal oversight
  • Conduct thorough engagement reviews and accept increasing responsibility for engagement management
  • Recognize potential problem areas during engagements and propose effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships through professionalism and responsiveness
  • Enhance skills in industries focused on by the Firm through training and professional development
  • Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants and contribute to team profitability
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Your Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in public accounting. Ability to sit for the CPA exam or passed section of the CPA. CPA license a plus. Experience with Affordable Housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, and other relevant areas is helpful.
