Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Idaho Central Credit Union. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with auto and RV dealerships in the designated area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with auto and RV dealerships in the designated area.
  • Handle issues between dealerships and Idaho Central Credit Union quickly and in a professional manner.
  • Report on the success of dealerships and the efforts made to grow business with those dealers.
  • Work closely with the buy center to communicate specials and staffing changes that happen at dealerships.
  • Research and develop new dealerships.
  • Assist other Business Development team members when needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in marketing or related field.
  • Professional appearance, Credit Union service/product knowledge, independent, self-directed worker.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
Performance Standards
  • Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed.
  • Knowledge of all Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include money machine, coolers, tables, and other miscellaneous equipment).
  • Extensive local travel, this is a driving position and a company vehicle is provided.
  • Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
