Public Health Nurse Part-Time, Bureau of School Health

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a Public Health Nurse to join our team in the Bureau of School Health. As a Public Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing health education and services to students and staff in NYC schools.
Key Responsibilities- Perform health screenings and provide health education to students and staff
- Collaborate with school administrators and community partners to promote health and wellness
- Supervise Public Health Advisors and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Ability to perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
