Job Title: Medical Device Specialist

At bioMerieux Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their medical devices are functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and fine tuning of assigned bioMerieux products/systems within the U.S.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our medical devices.
  • Assist with coordination and maintenance of the routine fine tuning customer schedule.
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure documentation of activities in our ERP system.
  • Develop problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for remote/phone support.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in a technical or life science field with 0 years of experience required OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in customer service, medical device, or troubleshooting related military also accepted.
  • Customer service and troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Clinical laboratory experience and/or medical device industry experience preferred.
  • Networking or LIS/LIMS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of bioMerieux products and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, great organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
