Your Responsibilities:

As the Intake Support Specialist, your primary function will be to assist the PROS program by generating prescriber reports and collaborating with various departments to facilitate client appointments, ensuring compliance with OMH/PROS standards.

Your Daily Tasks May Include:

  • Tracking and entering PROS Program Participation forms into the Avatar system
  • Coordinating coverage for PROS staff within and outside the department as necessary
  • Timely completion of PROS pre-admissions, admissions, and discharges in accordance with OMH regulations and organizational standards
  • Managing specific and complex inquiries by directing them to the appropriate resources (management, clinical call center, billing call center, etc.)
  • Documenting all services in compliance with Federal/State regulations and company policies
  • Performing additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative capacity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Extensive experience with Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets and formulas
  • Above-average knowledge of the Avatar system
  • Possession of a valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation for local and regional travel
