Your Responsibilities:

As the Intake Support Specialist, your primary focus will be to assist the PROS program by generating prescriber reports and collaborating with various departments to ensure clients are scheduled with the appropriate providers, adhering to OMH/PROS standards.

Your Daily Activities May Include:

  • Tracking and entering PROS Program Participation forms into the designated system
  • Coordinating coverage for PROS staff within the department and liaising with other departments as necessary
  • Timely completion of PROS pre-admissions, admissions, and discharges in compliance with OMH regulations and organizational standards
  • Managing specific and complex inquiries by directing them to the appropriate resources (management, clinical support, billing inquiries, etc.)
  • Documenting all services in line with Federal/State regulations and organizational policies
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
  • Extensive experience with Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets and utilize formulas
  • Above-average familiarity with the Avatar system
  • Possession of a valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation for local and regional travel
