Job Overview:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Logistics Systems Architect to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in supporting logistics and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) initiatives.

Position Summary:
The Senior Logistics Systems Architect will be tasked with evaluating, managing, and alleviating the challenges posed by obsolete and diminishing components within our systems and products. Your proficiency in identifying alternative solutions, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring a steady supply chain will be essential for maintaining the operational efficiency, reliability, and availability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:


• Demonstrated leadership in DMSMS management and systems engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of DMSMS principles, industry standards, and best practices for obsolescence risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess complex technical data and make informed decisions.
• Experience in component selection, qualification, and substitution processes.
• Proficient in utilizing DMSMS management tools and software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and conveying technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proactive approach to anticipating potential DMSMS challenges and formulating effective mitigation strategies.

Logistics Coordination:

• Oversee all logistics elements to ensure comprehensive integrated logistics support requirements are met.
• Engage in site surveys and program evaluations.

Documentation Support:

• Assist in the creation and review of logistics support documentation, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), and Technical Manuals, ensuring compliance with logistics support requirements.
• Implement Department of Defense Acquisition and Life-cycle Management policies and procedures.
• Assess resource requirements necessary to execute logistics plans.
• Maintain necessary security clearances and comply with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of experience in DMS and Logistics Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and related standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost account and project engineering management is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze and evaluate logistics information.
