Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), along with 4-6 years of experience in the field or a related area.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with Linux, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience maintaining databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or systems administration in a heterogeneous systems environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Splunk, and Playwright.
  • Knowledge of containerization and deployment techniques using Docker, Apptainer, Podman, Nomad, or Kubernetes.
  • Some experience with application integration using middleware tiers and REST API.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Awareness of current industry trends and the ability to articulate them clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with all management levels.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Previous experience in software development, infrastructure development, or DevOps.
  • Capability to document and design various processes and update existing ones.
  • Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Go, Python, or Typescript.

Special Instructions

This position is hybrid, requiring the selected candidate to reside in or be willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City area. Off-hours work may be necessary.
