Highmark Health Senior Solutions Architect

The role of a Senior Solutions Architect is crucial in shaping and executing Contact Center Solutions that are in harmony with business strategies and objectives.

This position entails the creation of comprehensive solution designs and documentation that facilitate the development, implementation, and operation of enterprise-level contact solutions utilized by the Contact Center, particularly in relation to innovative programs.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic guidance to business stakeholders in defining or designing business processes, functions, and organizational frameworks, while also researching and promoting enabling technologies based on customer capability needs.

Lead the development of intricate enterprise business solutions that integrate knowledge of specific business processes, technological options, and process facilitation techniques.

Participate in enterprise strategy formulation, including environmental assessments, opportunity identification, value proposition development, and business innovation portfolio management.
Design and specify large-scale or complex systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure components, or processes.
Select suitable design standards, methodologies, and tools, ensuring their effective application.

Conduct reviews of system designs created by others to guarantee the selection of appropriate technologies, optimal resource utilization, and the integration of various systems and technologies.

Establish guidelines for the selection of architectural components.
Perform impact analysis on significant design alternatives.
Ensure that the system architecture effectively balances functional requirements, service quality, and systems management needs.
Utilize appropriate tools, including component and interface models, to aid in the development of complex architectures.
Generate detailed component requirements and specifications, translating these into actionable solutions/designs for implementation using selected products.
Offer technical guidance on system development, integration (including change requests, deviations from specifications, etc.), and processes.
Ensure adherence to relevant technical and business strategies, policies, standards, and practices.

Employ tools and methods to clarify and communicate the functional and non-functional requirements of system users, including their characteristics and tasks.

Identify the technical, organizational, and physical environments in which complex products or systems will function.

Propose, initiate, and lead significant improvement initiatives, taking ownership of the quality and relevance of the work performed and the realization of measurable business benefits.

Adapt existing process improvement methodologies and/or create new strategies for achieving enhancements.

Guide the resolution of various architectural and business challenges, serving as a technical or business lead for highly complex project initiatives.

Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Manage expectations of stakeholders, partners, and management.
Engage in customer walkthroughs and planning sessions; conduct design and technical reviews; and facilitate problem resolution and decision-making.

Collaborate with various departments as necessary, including the development and interpretation of complex requirements for peers and other staff.

Maintain an extensive understanding of specific technical aspects within the area of expertise and provide expert advice regarding their application.

Offer leadership and mentorship in areas of expertise and architecture to peers, developers, management, and business users, including technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training.

Prepare presentations on complex issues within the area of expertise.
Present to peers to ensure alignment with Highmark's strategic objectives.
Other responsibilities as assigned or requested.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field

SKILLS
Experience in designing and implementing contact center technologies aligned with business objectives for both on-premises and CCaaS environments.
Develop technology roadmaps that align with business priorities and future initiatives.
Identify optimization opportunities within the current environment.
Research and assess new concepts in contact center technologies.
Collaborate with business units to prioritize programs aligned with critical strategic deliverables.
Experience in supporting multiple clients.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
