Business Process Manager

Sulzer USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Manager to join our Services_AME team in the United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing business process activities, ensuring expeditious communication with customers, and providing counsel to engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Directly or through delegation, manage business process activities, including RFQ and tendering processing, procurement processes, order entry processing, order planning, and project management.
- Ensure expeditious communication with customers on tenders, order changes, status updates, and concerns.
- Manage orders through to completion and ensure changes to orders are conveyed to appropriate departments.
- Provide counsel to engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams on key activity due dates and work prioritization.
- Support activities related to sales department regarding tenders, procurement, and orders.
- Actively involved with standardization and continuous improvement processes.
- Qualification in Engineering, Science, or Business discipline or approved combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of five years' experience in closely related position, preferably in a manufacturing, sales, or customer service environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience in negotiation in a commercial environment.
- Staff management experience and knowledge of pump or other manufacturing and project management.
- Experience with engineered products and quality principles.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and SAP.
