Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Dallas, TX office. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing mechanical systems for highly integrated facilities, including load calculations, static pressure calculations, pump head calculations, energy analysis, and more.
  • Developing mechanical specifications, AutoCAD and 3D BIM modeling of systems, mechanical equipment schedules, and other related tasks.
  • Working independently with minor guidance on small projects or assisting more senior engineers on larger projects.
  • Conducting field investigations and mechanical inspections for projects as required.
  • Collaborating with the team to complete mechanical system designs for complex projects.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Preferably, proficiency with Revit.
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is desirable.
  • A valid Texas Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on HVAC-related topics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical system design for healthcare, education, science, and technology, and federal projects.
  • Experience in HVAC and plumbing system design.
  • Mechanical system design experience for water/wastewater projects is a bonus.
